Social Media Success

Summary:

Joel has been involved in social media since the early days of MySpace. In this keynote, he demonstrates why a social media campaign can be an integral part of any business. From Facebook and YouTube to LinkedIn and Twitter, Joel cuts through how businesses CAN use social media and shows how businesses SHOULD use social media. His lively delivery, real-life case studies, and insights gained from experience will give the audience a deep understanding of the benefits of social media and practical strategies for developing a winning social media campaign.

4:25 p.m. Roundtable Session: Ronald M. Vitale, Associate Director, Website Communications, American Association for Cancer Research will discuss the use of social media in promoting interest and attendance at the AACR meetings, how he interfaces with the meetings staff (meeting planners) and some details on his upcoming mobile phone app.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the function. No-shows who have registered by fax, mail or via the web, who have not canceled their reservations will be charged the registration fee.

A paying MPI member is allowed to bring a guest to two monthly meetings at the non-member registration rate during the fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
